PiÑa Colada Milk Punch

Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately, I was a little sick but finally feeling well enough to do some experimenting today after reading a couple articles on @punch_drink.

Let me introduce you to a Clarified Milk Punch, the scalded milk coagulates with the citric acid in the cocktail and strained through a fine sieve to produce the clearest cocktail you've ever seen. Believe it or not, there's actually an ice cube in this @viskistyle rocks glass 😉🥃💎



 

ingredients:

  • 14 ounces Rum

  • 8 ounces Coconut Water

  • 4 ounces Velvet Falernum

  • 1 ounce Demerara Syrup

  • 4 ounces Pineapple Juice

  • 3 ounces Fresh Lime Juice

  • 6 ounces Scalded Milk

  • 4 ounces muddled pineapple

instructions:

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl or pitcher, except milk. Over medium-low heat heat 6 ounces of milk in a pyrex bowl, stirring continuously until milk begins to bubble around the edges (but before it bowls). Add the milk to the bowl, and stir until it begins to coagulate, grate nutmeg over the top and let the mixture sit for 15 minutes. Strain several times through a cheese cloth or durable paper towel until mixture is clarified. Pour over ice, and garnish with a cherry, pineapple slice, or both. In my case, a twist of lemon.
