Caramel Apple Sour

Gin

I'm back to making my favorite desserts into cocktails…

Together with my friends at empress1908gin, I've recreated a cocktail thats inspired by one of my favorite fair treats. If you've ever had a caramel apple at a fall fair, this cocktail is exactly that vibe in a glass — sweet caramel, crisp apple, a little salt, and just enough richness to make it feel like a proper fall or winter sipper. It's simple, balanced, and way easier to drink than an actual caramel apple.

ingredients:

  • 1½ oz | 45 ml Empress 1908 Gin

  • ½ oz | 15 ml Peanut Butter Whiskey

  • ½ oz | 15 ml Apple Cider Syrup

  • ¾ oz | 22.5 ml Lemon Juice

  • 1 Pinch Sea Salt

  • Apple Fan + Cinnamon Garnish

  • Peanut + Caramel Rim

instructions:

Combine ingredients except garnish in a shaking tin. Pour/strain over crushed or pebble ice in a rocks glass rimmed with caramel and peanuts. Garnish with an apple fan and a flamed cinnamon stick.
