This is Episode X of Equal Parts Theory, where we see if equal ingredient measurements actually make a good cocktail. Today, we’re making Accidental Hipster, an equal-parts cocktail created around 2015 by Julia and Chris Tunstall after the name came first and the recipe followed.

ingredients:
¾ oz | 22 ml Rye, Rittenhouse 100
¾ oz | 22 ml Lemon juice
¾ oz | 22 ml Fernet
¾ oz | 22 ml Maraschino Liqueur
instructions:
Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a shaking tin with ice. Shake then pour/strain in a rocks glass over crushed ice. Garnish with olive oil, 3 olives and fresh cracked black pepper
