Deepfake Irish Coffee
It’s like an Irish Coffee, but not.🍀☕️This enhanced version of the classic is still very easy to make and only takes a few more ingredients to execute. Chicory and coffee have always been a match made in heaven.
ingredients:
2 oz | 60 ml Irish Whiskey
½ oz | 15 ml Demerara Simple Syrup
½ oz | 15 ml Hoodoo Chicory Liqueur
6 oz | 177 ml Fresh Brewed Hot Coffee
2 oz | 60 ml Heavy Cream
½ oz | 15 ml Salted Caramel Syrup︎
Grated Coffee (Garnish)
instructions:
Brew Coffee. Whip heavy cream and salted caramel syrup. Set aside. Add all other ingredients into an Irish coffee mug, then top with the brewed coffee and whipped salted caramel cream. Grate coffee on top using a microplane.

Style is personal. So why should your cocktail try to copy somebody else’s?
I teamed up with my friends at Ralph Lauren Fragrances to build a cocktail around their Ralph’s Club New York Parfum, and the fragrance did most of the talking. Black currant, cognac, oud wood. That’s basically a drink order.
So we built a Manhattan style sipper with cognac as the base, swapped the sweet vermouth for creme de cassis and a touch of dry vermouth, added a barspoon of absinthe and a few dashes of bitters, then finished it with an expressed lemon twist for brightness. Given the NY roots on this bottle, I’m calling it The State of Mind.
