Sloe Cup
Is this the essential summer drink?
We’re creating a refreshing take on a familiar classic using #QMixers Ginger Beer and Sloe Gin on top of some fresh fruit and fragrant mint. This is the ultimate, refreshing summer sipper that is as beautiful as it is delicious. Try this out!
ingredients:
2 oz | 60 ml Sloe Gin
3 oz | 90 ml Ginger Beer
½ oz | 15 ml Lemon (Cut into slices)
1 Strawberry (Cut into quarters)
3 Cucumber Slices
1 Sprig Mint (Garnish)
instructions:
Add half of the fruit to the bottom of the Collins glass, top with crushed or pebble ice. Add another layer of fruit then pour Sloe gin over top. Top with ice then add ginger beer until full (add more ice if necessary). Garnish with a cucumber wheel and a fresh sprig of slapped mint. Serve and enjoy!

Style is personal. So why should your cocktail try to copy somebody else’s?
I teamed up with my friends at Ralph Lauren Fragrances to build a cocktail around their Ralph’s Club New York Parfum, and the fragrance did most of the talking. Black currant, cognac, oud wood. That’s basically a drink order.
So we built a Manhattan style sipper with cognac as the base, swapped the sweet vermouth for creme de cassis and a touch of dry vermouth, added a barspoon of absinthe and a few dashes of bitters, then finished it with an expressed lemon twist for brightness. Given the NY roots on this bottle, I’m calling it The State of Mind.
