I know our round-ups are typically on Fridays but since I’m sure we’re all going to be working off a food coma this Friday, I figured we’d do it today to prep for Thanksgiving.

You know what they say about an apple a day…
The cool part about these apples is they’re slow to brown so they’re perfect for garnishing your cocktail, as well as using it as the main ingredient. Hope y’all try this recipe it out, its one of our favs. Cheers y’all!
ingredients:
1½ oz | 45 ml Cognac
1 oz | 30 ml Cinnamon Apple Shrub Syrup
½ oz | 15 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
3 oz | 90 ml Soda Water
Cinnamon Stick (garnish)
Apple Slices (garnish)
instructions:
Combine all ingredients except the soda water and garnishes in a shaking tin with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour and strain over a chilled Cognac glass with ice. Garnish with cinnamon and fresh apple slices. Serve and enjoy.

APPLE SHRUB SYRUP
2 lbs of Fresh Koru Apples (cored/cubed)
1 cup Apple Cider
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup Sugar
2 large cinnamon sticks
instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a non-reactive mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 24-48 hours, gently stirring every 12 hours or so and letting the apples and sugar granules break down. Fine strain using a mesh strainer into a glass container. For a more refined syrup, strain again through a coffee filter. Add 1oz of gin to fortify the syrup and shake to incorporate. Store in the fridge for up to a month.

instructions:
Combine bourbon, allspice dram, syrup and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir, strain and pour the cocktail over a large ice cube and grate fresh cinnamon on top. Garnish with apple slice with cloves. Serve and enjoy!
A longer take on a classic Martini. Built for warmer days, served cold, and finished with tonic for a lighter profile. Straightforward and easy to drink.

1½ oz | 45 ml Fresh Espresso
½ oz | 15 ml Pumpkin Spice Agave Syrup
1 oz | 30 ml Licor 43
Pumpkin Spice Powder
Sea Salt
Fresh Orange Wedge (Garnish)
inSTRUCTIONS:
Combine the all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, double strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with can orange wedge and pumpkin spice powder.

PUMPKIN SPICE AGAVE SYRUP

200g Water
250g Agave Nectar
5 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
5 whole cloves
A light spritz built for spring. Low-proof, easy to assemble, and served cold. Works for daytime or early evening.

¾ oz | 22.5 ml Select Aperitivo
½ oz | 15 ml Rosemary Syrup
1½ oz | 45 ml Prosecco
1 oz | 30 ml Soda Water
Grapefruit Twist (garnish)
Rosemary Sprig (garnish)
instructions:
Add ice to a rocks or wine glass. Pour in soda water and Prosecco, then add aperitivo and rosemary syrup. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with a grapefruit twist and rosemary sprig.

Syrup Recipe: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of apple juice with 2 cinnamon sticks. Bring to a simmer then add 1 cups of Demerara sugar. Stir until dissolved, strain into a sanitized bottle.

SLEEPYTIME HONEY GINGER SYRUP

4 Sleepytime Tea bags
1 Cup Water
2 Cups Honey
1 Knob Sliced Ginger

Steep tea with ginger and water then remove tea bags. Add honey then stir, strain and pour the syrup into a sanitized container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 months (if it lasts that long).
Whoa… you feel that chill in the air? That can only mean one thing…
ingredients:
1 oz | 30 ml Bourbon
½ oz | 15 ml Maple Syrup
¾ oz | 22.5 ml Lemon Juice
Top with 3oz Miller High Life
inSTRUCTIONS:
Serve in a highball glass over ice. Garnish with lemon wheel and grated cinnamon.
