The Oaxaca Old Fashioned
The definition of a modern classic, made popular by the folks at Death & Co.
Recipe By: Phil Ward
Dirty Martini
A home bar standard and favorite, the Dirty Martini. This recipe is perfect and provides the perfect balance.
Southern Drawl
This combines the rich herbaceousness of #AmaroLucano with sweet tea and southern peaches. It makes for one refreshing sipper on those hot summer days on your back porch. As we say here in the South, cheers y’all.
Reposwizzle
When in doubt, always float the rum. This tequila based tiki-inspired cocktail is sure to please. The black strap rum floater is a must-have. Cheers y’all.
The New Chai Fashioned
Just reminiscing about this shoot with my bud, Jess Rehs for this cocktail - its a chai old fashioned riff and you can never go wrong with it.
The Pineapple Bottom
Who’s ready for summer cocktails recipes? Don’t sleep on this vodka cocktail- it’s perfect for your next pool day.
Vieux Carré
This New Orleans classic is one of my favorite night caps and it will soon be one of yours as well.
Fun Fact: Vieux Carré means “Old Square” which was the old term for the French Quarter in NOLA.
La Vie en Rose
I figured I’d take seasonality into account and utilize fresh strawberries to match the rich, ripened berry notes from the Small Batch bourbon. This is a delicious and easy-drinking recipes perfect for any occasion. Cheers!
The Spiraled Oak
I’m excited to create a custom cocktail recipe using their unique whiskies finished with a charred oak spiral. Each spiraled shaped oak stave provides a one-of-a-kind flavor profile to the whiskey and imparts an aromatic finish to every bottle. The specific oak spiral in this rye adds notes of smoke, caramel and coffee which pairs perfectly with the flavors in this Amaro and is accentuated by the coffee bitters. Check out the recipe below!
Black Strap Mojito
You can’t beat this riff on a Mojito. Especially when you top it with a healthy dose of more rum.
The Fancy That
Coming at you with a tequila recipe to compliment the season - hope everyone is still staying safe and healthy out there!
Top Shelf Señorita
Today, I’m excited to feature Amanda Phelps of Charleston, SC with a delicious and easy-to-make margarita riff! Its hot, sweet, salty and sour - what else would you want in a drink? According to Amanda, “it’s perfect for sipping on your porch enjoying tacos and cheese dip!” cheers y’all!
The Sazerac
Looking for a new classic recipe to try tonight? Why not let Charleston’s own Jayce McConnell show you how to make HIS favorite cocktail - The Sazerac.
Swizzle Me Timbers
Bourbon, elderflower, strawberries, lemon and mint?? If that combination of flavors resonates with you, you’ll want to stick around and check out the recipe below 👌🏾
The Overnighter
Working a little overtime tonight, anyone else?
.
This recipe is for all you bitter/sweet/strong cocktail fans out there. Benedictine really brings this recipe to the next level as the dry vermouth rounds the cocktail out. Its a great balance of flavors and is relatively simple to make. I also recently received some smoked orange wheels from the folks over at @smokinconnie and not only do they look great, they add another dimension of smoky aroma and slight flavor to the drink.

Sidenote: Any other creatives with a kiddo or two burning the midnight oil lately? I know with all the madness with this pandemic, I’m personally spending most of my time being productive once everyone in the house goes to sleep. I know some of you are in the same boat, but if you have any tips/tricks on how to manage your time balancing work and the family while we’re all at home, I’d love to hear them. Figured we could all learn from each other during this time. Drop a line in the comments!
