Beericano (Non-Alcoholic)
I believe so!
Had to give this one a try. This recipe went viral late last year thanks to @_thirstywhale, and since a lot of y’all are doing #DryJanuary, it felt like the right time to make a non-alcoholic version. I’ve been on the hunt for a solid NA Campari and sweet vermouth alternative for a while now, and I think I finally found it with Giffard Sirop Aperitif. It hits that balance of bitterness and sweetness that makes this drink work.I’ll be playing around with a Negroni and Boulevardier (NA) next, but let me know what else you’d like to see.Pro tip: You can also make this low-ABV by using Campari and your favorite sweet vermouth, then topping with an NA beer.Cheers, y’all!
Flasked Spruce Tip Vesper Martini
The perfect serving for the perfect seasonal cocktail #ad21+
A Vesper is already a bold, spirit-forward martini but together with my friends at WeberRanchVodka, I wanted to give you a seasonal rendition with a slightly different edge thanks to its agave base, which brings a subtle sweetness and soft herbal note that works especially well with dry vermouth and citrus.
A flask is the way to go here, the addition of spruce tips and juniper comes through in place of the traditional gin and really let’s the earthy notes in #WeberRanch shine with the bonus of adding that cozy holiday feeling around this time of year. It’s a great make-ahead option when you want a martini that pours clean and consistent every time.
As an added bonus, this cocktail can pull double duty, make sure to check out Jordan’s (@highproofpreacher) version for a lighter, crisp rendition by adding a few simple ingredients!
Cheers, y’all!
Flasked Spiced Pear Boulevardier
Some cocktails are better when they're ready before you need them.
This Flasked Spiced Pear Boulevardier is built for two. Perfect for a cozy date night in or passing it around the firepit with friends as the air starts to cool. WhistlePig 10 Year Rye is the backbone here, bringing bold spice, oak, and a touch of sweetness that plays perfectly with spiced pear and rich sweet vermouth. It's a balanced, rye forward fall sipper that only gets better once it's batched and rested.

Cheers, y'all!
Spiced Pear Old Fashioned
A Spiced Pear Old Fashioned is exactly the kind of drink that feels right this time of year — warm whiskey, a little cinnamon, and that subtle pear sweetness that makes the whole thing feel both seasonal and easy to sip. This one leans on Whiskey Jypsi Tribute for its richness and rounds out with a spiced pear liqueur that adds depth without making it overly sweet.
Cheers, y'all!
Freezer Door Maple Old Fashioned V2
Why make one when you can share twelve?
Together with my friends at @fourrosesbourbon, we’re making a cocktail to share this holiday season. Smooth, rich, and perfect for holiday hosting — this Freezer Door Maple Old Fashioned is your set-and-forget version of a classic.
Four Roses Small Batch bourbon gives you warmth and the vanilla notes, maple syrup adds seasonal sweetness, walnut bitters bring depth, and a touch of water pre-dilutes it so it pours perfectly straight from the freezer. This one is built for easy entertaining and sharing.
If you want the full recipe, comment MAPLE and I’ll send it straight to your inbox.
Cheers, y’all!
Sleepytime Manhattan
A nightcap that won't let you use lose any sleep? Sign me up.
Together with my friends at @littlesaintsco, I've developed an autumn-forward Manhattan. Here's the thing, this is a no-abv alternative made with their St. Oak NA spirit. Combined with an allspice tea made with cinnamon, cloves, and allspice - it's almost a guarantee that you're going to want to make over and over again this season.
If you havent had St. Oak before, it's made with reishi and lion's mane mushroom which has a calming effect on the body. As far as flavor, it's got notes of oak, vanilla, caramel and a little bit of spice to give it that kick similar to bourbon. I'm honestly really impressed with this spirit and if you're looking for a low or no-abv alternative to whiskey, I can highly recommend trying this one out. And trust me, I don't give out NA recommendations lightly.
Cheers y'all.
Desayuno En La Ciudad
This is NOT a Tequila Sunrise…
Cristalino Tequilas are taking over Mexico as one of the most popular styles of tequila in Mexico… and with reason. They’re smooth, bright, and lend themselves perfectly to cocktails.
Today I’m making a cocktail inspired by @limantourmx, one of the World’s 50 Best Bars (@50bestbars) which uses @dobeltequila, the first ever Cristalino Tequila. I’m here to show you it’s possible to pay homage to a cocktail from one of the world’s best bars at home.
Their recipe calls for red bell peppers, morita chili (a type of smoked jalapeño like a chipotle), tangerine and blood orange. I did my best to capture the flavor profiles here and added elements of a Garibaldi such as an aperitif and a frothy citrus juice to produce a fresh but balanced cocktail that hopefully did the original some justice.
Honestly though, you need to make this syrup, so comment ‘PEPPER’ if you want the recipe to the syrup in the video!
Mulled Cider Rum Fashioned
Warm, spiced, and spirit-forward — the Mulled Cider Rum Fashioned brings cozy holiday vibes to a timeless classic. Aged rum and pimento dram provide depth and warmth, while the spiced cider syrup and orange bitters tie it together with a fragrant seasonal twist. Cheers, y'all!
La Pistola
Is this better than an espresso martini?? 🤔
I’ve made a stirred coffee cocktail that uses ingredients you most likely already have. Think of it as Mexican twist on a classic Revolver but instead of bourbon, using LALO Blanco Tequila to complement the notes of coffee, smoke and citrus.
Cheers y’all.
Oaxaca Old Fashioned (Non Alcoholic)
I think we finally did it.. a non-alcoholic STIRRED cocktail that actually tastes good.
I’ve been on a quest to find a spirit that plays well in a stirred cocktail. Unfortunately, it’s been difficult to replicate the texture and mouthfeel of an alcoholic spirit BUTTT I recently found some spirits that come very close.
I was introduced to Cut Above during Tales of the Cocktail one year. Yes, it’s got agave notes, but it’s also got the spice and slight bitterness that alcohol tends to have that lends itself to mimic that texture/mouthfeel.
Combined with Almave’s new Humo, a mezcal alternative, made with espadin agave (also non-alcoholic) - this recipe drank almost like the real thing.
Y’all need to give this a try, cheers.
East India Cocktail No. 2
Let’s try a cocktail from the 1880s, shall we?
This is the East India Cocktail No. 2, named after the East India Trading Company. Theres been a ton of renditions on this 18th century cocktail with ingredients being subbed in and out and multiple bartenders putting their own spin/riff on the original (sound familiar?) - one thing is certain though, this always had a brandy/cognac base spirit. Now why is this called the No. 2? Well… No. 1 used raspberries instead of pineapple, obviously.
Review at the end - let me know what y’all think of this spec - would you try it out? If so, what would you change?
Cheers y’all.
Orange Cocoa espresso martini
+ Don’t make a regular Espresso Martini, make this instead…
We’re going to #ElevateWithEspresso by making one of my favorite twists on a Espresso Martini using Luxardo’s Espresso Liqueur. Today I’m using a local Rhum Agricole as my base spirit since the tropical flavor profiles pair so well with this espresso liqueur which contains notes of sweet vanilla and chocolate. Luxardo Espresso liqueur features a thirty-day infusion of coffees from Brazil, Columbia, and Kenya. Pair all this with some orange notes, enhanced with saline and you’ve got yourself one of the best espresso martinis you’ve ever had.
Cheers y’all.
Lily Pad
Spring has sprung, so lets celebrate with a delicious and floral spring themed cocktail with my friends over at bentlyheritagedistillery.
I’ve partnered with sourceonevodka to produce an easy sipping cocktail created with a local ingredient to pair with their small batch, single estate vodka. I landed with an Earl Grey syrup from Charleston Tea Plantation and combined it with delicate but floral ingredients to create a well balanced cocktail perfect for any spring day. Check out the recipe below!
Ultra Negroni
Who doesn’t love adding a bit more locality to their cocktail ingredients? I’m excited to finally announce a new series with my friends at herradurateq! In this series I’ll be showcasing some of Charleston’s finest mixologists to create recipes featuring Herradura Ultra Añejo and utilizing ingredients local and unique to the Lowcountry. First up is my friend, and huge agave spirit advocate: Morgan Hurley (mixpoursurf) who used a local ingredient found in his own backyard.
“My inspiration for the cocktail comes from the Tequila itself. The Herradura Ultra Anejo is incredibly smooth with a touch of sweetness from the Agave. Bringing in Dry Vermouth and French Gentian Liqueur added some herbal elements as well as some floral notes to the cocktail. Tying it all in was the orange bitters and Corazon bitters adding a layer of depth and spice. Bringing in a touch of Agave Nectar infused with Pecans from my backyard brought the Agave notes back to the front of the cocktail and complemented the toasted oak from the barrel aging.
Sacred Monkey
🍌Ok it’s about to get bananas on the #BartendersAndBoulevardiers series with cooperscraft.
Up the Chimney
🎅🏻🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS! I’ve been wanting to smoke a Holiday themed cocktail for a while now and I think I found the perfect vessel for it. I saw this at target and immediately thought it was for smoking my cocktails… is that weird? Anyone know what this is really for? …either way it doesn’t matter because this drink ended up being delicious.
Freezer Door Maple Old Fashioned
Is it safe to assume you’ll be hosting or attending a Holiday Party this year?
Need some tips on what cocktail to make? Well how about we batch it? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. The best part about this recipe is you can make it ahead of time and that it does NOT freeze, so keep it in the fridge or freezer until your guests arrive and have them serve themselves over a large clear cube so you can enjoy the party instead of making drinks all night.
Now try this out and go be hero at the next party.
Wisconsin Negroni
My apologies to the entire country of Italy 🙈
I mean… It works for the Old Fashioned right? Muddling oranges and cherries into a Negroni over crushed ice actually wonderful. I would 100% make this again and maybe add some saline or olive brine next time. Sorry Wisconsinites - no Brandy or Sprite in this recipe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Cheers y’all.
