Cinnamon Toast Milk Punch
Letâs try this again, shall we? đ„Ł
Cinnamon Toast Crunch⊠but make it drinkable.
Who doesnât love CTC?? I figured it would be fun to try to recreate it into cocktail. Iâm going to make two versions and this is the first rendition - a traditional milk punch with actual cream. The addition of biscotti liqueur here adds that sweet bread flavor that you typically get from French toast so I figured it would be fitting⊠and guess it what, it actually works. Give this one a tryâŠ
Anyone have any guesses on the second version of this cocktail??
Maple Radler
Whoa⊠you feel that chill in the air? That can only mean one thingâŠ
ITâS. FALL. YâALL
Combining the #ChampagneOfBeers with the flavors bourbon, maple, cinnamon and lemon to create a fall Radler that is perfect for the season. Give this recipe a try this season and let us know what you think below!
Cheers yâall!
The Old Thymer
Another highlight of Mountain Weekend was bartacolife in Asheville, NC coming in hot (literally) with street tacos and cocktails next to their wood burning fireplace â we managed to try almost their entire cocktail menu.
Maple New York Sours
Movie night with the fam. Homemade Maple New York Sours seemed appropriate.
Jumbo Old Fashioned
Anyone know where to get jumbo sized cherries? Asking for this jumbo-sized Old Fashioned đđ
This may or may not be an #aprilfools joke but this is a great recipe for a BATCHED Old Fashioned. Just mix the ingredients below with ice and strain into a serving vessel of your choice. If youâre serving for a later date, add 4 oz of filtered water and throw that bottle/container in the fridge or freezer until youâre ready to serve. Serve over a large ice cube and garnish with an orange twist and maraschino cherry (optional).
Disclaimer: Please drink responsibly and donât try to drink this entire thing by yourself in one sitting.
The Cooperâs Smash
Are yâall enjoying these #CocktailsAtHome recipes yet? This next cooperscraft cocktail recipe is not only easy to make but is easily batched and is extremely enjoyable and refreshing to sip on. Its perfect for sitting out on the porch on those warm spring nights.
â
Next up on the #CocktailsAtHome series with cooperscraft is Jayce McConnell (derekthedreaded) of Charleston, SC: âThe great thing about this is you can make several jars ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to a week, so if you have more fruit than you want to eat you can put it to good use!â
.
A portion of the proceeds for each bottle sold will benefit The Bee Cause Project which works to support the health of honeybees in the Southeast by increasing the number of hives in the region and helping to educate the public on their importance. Now get out there and support the cause!

Twelve Mile Limit
So I canât be the only one that gets lost down the rabbit hole that is youtube.
My favorite genre of videos are any of those that I can learn from. I recently was looking for some inspiration for a Repeal Day cocktail and stumbled across how2drink. If you havenât checked out Gregâs channel, you absolutely should - its educational and super entertaining.
Anyways, I made this pre-Prohibition cocktail based on his recipe and you can bet it wonât be the last one I make from his channel - Iâll post the link in my stories #videographygoals
101 Old Fashioned
Happy Thanksgiving! Why not celebrate with a little Turkey from the OG himself, #jimmyrussell. Hereâs a quick and easy wildturkey 101 Old Fashioned to get you through the day đ
Side note: Iâm breaking in the home bar with this first photo, Iâm obsessed with the lighting in here. Itâs perfect considering this will double as a studio as well.
Panela old Fashioned
The holidays always remind of the fall/winter flavors and spices that go into everything we eat and imbibe during the season. I recently #partnered up with 1792 bourbon to create a custom cocktail that will tie in all these flavors into a simple cocktail⊠Can you keep a secret? It has to do with the spiced panela syrup. Infused with flavors that remind me of fall and winter, it ties in well with 1792 Bourbon due to the bourbonâs high-rye content and spice-rich notes, alongside vanilla and caramel. Check out the recipe below and let me know what cocktail reminds you of the holidays! #1792 and #1792Bourbon

Louisville is for Makers (Smoked Salt Boulevardier)
Did you know there are only three places in the US where you can try my cocktails at actual bar? Two of them are in Charleston but one is actually at claytonandcrumeâs speakeasy in Louisville, KY. Last year I had the opportunity to help craft the menu for their inaugural opening right before the Kentucky Derby. This was one of those recipes.
Itâs an easy one and one of my go-to cocktails to make at home.
Jumbo Manhattan [Batched]
We found the perfect cocktail to kick off the weekend.
Charleston-based photographer and mixologist Miguel Buencamino of Holy City Handcraft (holycityhandcraft) whipped up a jumbo Manhattan cocktail, complete with a giant âcherry,â at the gardenandgun offices. The recipe below provides 20-25 servings of this classic cocktail and can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge or freezer. Cheers and happy Friday! đ„
Please note: This is a great way to enjoy a batched cocktail to share with friends, but we donât recommend consuming alone.
Leche Flan ni Nanay Old Fashioned
An ode to my Filipino grandmother (Nanay) đ„đ”đ
You know when you try a particular food or drink it just takes you back to place and time in your life or childhood? This is it for me. This recipeâs flavors reminds me of my Nanay (Tagalog for âmomâ - she was everyoneâs mom) and her famous leche flan. She would make this recipe for every special occasion and it was always a crowd favorite. What set it apart was the incredible amount of balance in flavors, between the massive amount of lime zest in the condensed milk custard (think souped up key lime) and a caramel sauce that was just brought past caramelization, bringing a sweet, but nutty element to table. Iâm honored to be able to create something to pay homage to those flavor profiles and the nostalgia that comes along with it.
Iâve been covering the chswineandfood going on seven years, but this year but I knew this year was special when I was asked to be a participant for a signature dinner with my friends at @pinkbellies and the world famous @pawkhrua. I knew this had to make on the menu along with some other recipes that I canât wait to show yâall. Our event is tomorrow, so make sure youâre following along on the accounts mentioned above and chswineandfood. If youâre going to make it to any other CHSWF events, let me know which ones!
Cheers yâall!
Cinnamon Apple Old Fashioned
This is recipe is fall in a glass for this yearâs #OldFashionedWeek đ„
We, I created a variation on an Old Fashioned that will be an instant hit this season. It combines the familiar pairing of apples and cinnamon and combines them with the rich and complex notes of the 94 proof #ElijahCraig Small Batch bourbon, providing for one of the easiest sipping cocktails youâll make this this season.
If youâre unfamiliar with Old Fashioned Week, itâs an annual celebration of this classic Bourbon cocktail, featuring events in bars and online. As an added bonus, the funds raised for this campaign will be donated to a great cause: the Southern Smoke Foundation
